The public record on Greater Lincolnshire's mayor and Reform UK MPs

A constituent's compiled record of public statements, votes and associations. Every claim below is taken from primary sources or established news reporting and is linked. Readers can judge for themselves.

Compiled by Paul Webster, a constituent of Greater Lincolnshire. Last updated 2026-05-02 (v2: citation upgrade per peer review). Updates posted as new public-record material emerges.

About this page

I am a Greater Lincolnshire constituent and the East Lindsey Green Party's named communications officer. The party's local communications is done as a three-person team; the named-officer title is procedural rather than hierarchical. This dossier is not journalism. The entries below were compiled from public statements, voting records, news reporting and the leaked 2007-08 British National Party membership list. Each row is linked to its source, and the framing is deliberately narrow so that readers can weigh the evidence themselves rather than rely on my characterisation of it.

I do not characterise anyone as anything: no labels, no inferences. I quote what people have said, link what has been reported, and let the reader decide. This is the form that survives both UK libel scrutiny and ordinary fairness, and it is the right form for material that touches on politically contested ground while the author has a disclosed political affiliation of his own.

If you find a factual error or a missing source, email paul.g.webster@redax.dev. Corrections will be applied with a visible changelog.

Andrea Jenkyns DBE

Greater Lincolnshire (Mayor) · Reform Mayor (elected May 2025) - Reform's first mayor; appointed to Reform's decision-making board Aug 2025

Path to Reform UK

Conservative councillor 2009 -> Conservative MP Morley & Outwood 2015-24 (Education Under-Sec 2022) -> Reform (Nov 2024) -> Mayor (May 2025)

Right-wing record

EDL / Tommy Robinson

Publicly endorsed Elon Musk's video address to Tommy Robinson's 'Unite the Kingdom' rally (Sept 2025) - asked to justify it on Sky News, deflected. Hope not Hate piece on Reform Lincolnshire candidates frames her as part of a slate that included Tommy Robinson supporters.

Lincolnshire County Council under Reform (since May 2025)

A separate body to the mayoralty above. The County Council is responsible for children's services, social care, education and roads; the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority (chaired by Mayor Jenkyns) is not. Reform UK won control of the County Council at the same May 2025 local elections that delivered the mayoralty. Council leader: Sean Matthews.

Edge of Care / Safe Families service to be scrapped

On 24 April 2026, the council's Children and Culture committee heard that the contract for the "Edge of Care" service, delivered by the Christian volunteer charity Safe Families, will be ended on 30 June 2026, saving £133,000 per year. Safe Families provides support for families whose children are at risk of entering the care system, including parenting advice, practical help at home, and time-limited overnight stays. The decision was taken by Cllr Natalie Oliver (Reform, Woodhall Spa and Wragby), Executive Member for Children's Services, who took the portfolio after defeating long-serving Conservative Patricia Bradwell in the May 2025 elections.

Councillor Oliver: "It is not a cut, it's a duplication which is being removed. The council is in a difficult financial situation with rising cost pressures, and we have to make difficult decisions."

Conservative Councillor Lindsey Cawrey called the move "indefensible" and said it "runs counter to everything we stand for as a council". Labour Councillor Kev Clarke said: "This will have real consequences for families - it's performing well, and is valued by families and professionals."
